Ohai is looking for a proactive Community Manager to serve as the voice of the company, our products, and our customers. You will work closely with our executives, our product and development team, and our marketing/PR team to help us build robust communities around our games.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the highest level of community happiness and satisfaction possible
- Serving as the voice of the player, including addressing player inquiries and complaints in a firm, impartial, authoritative and empathetic manner on an ongoing basis
- Architect the right processes to help us tap into our communities’ passion into word of mouth campaigns
- Identify, engage and reward community influencers and advocates; run our volunteer moderator program
- Manage community forums and company blogs, including posting news, announcements, promotions, and FAQs
- Develop and maintain official company best practices around community and code of conduct
- Analyze customer data, statistics, and user trends to help us drive product development
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in community management or customer service
- Previous experience playing online games and understanding of the cultural idiosyncrasies of online game communities preferred
- Strong understanding of community dynamics and the behavior/trends/growth of online communities
- Must be very diplomatic and have superb communications skills
- Must have strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Game and social media experience is preferred

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years game industry QA experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a relevant QA management or Lead QA role.
- Must have experience working within game development or publishing QA.
- Excellent understanding of formal test and development processes.
- Proven expertise with bug/task tracking products such as FogBugz, Trac, and Pivotal Tracker.

- Capable of communicating complex game designs clearly and succinctly to both development teams and internal leadership.
